We build custom Battlefield Portal experiences that reach an established core-gaming audience inside a AAA title they already own and already play.

What Battlefield Portal is, and who it reaches

How a Portal experience is made

Battlefield Portal is the custom-experience toolset built into Battlefield. It lets creators define their own modes using the game’s maps, weapons, vehicles and rulesets, and publish them to be played inside Battlefield itself.

Who is actually on the other side

Battlefield’s audience is older and more core than the audiences on Roblox or Fortnite. That makes Portal a weak fit for a broad family campaign and a strong one for projects aimed at engaged adult gamers. Choosing Portal is a targeting decision before it is a creative one.

Three ways we build on Portal

( _01 )

Custom modes

A bespoke mode built from Battlefield’s own systems, designed to be played rather than looked at.

( _02 )

Custom rulesets

Rules, objectives and constraints shaped around a game idea, using what the game already gives us.

( _03 )

Creator and community activations

Modes launched with creators and communities already playing Battlefield, so the mode fills with players on day one.

Battlefield Portal, answered

What is Battlefield Portal?

Portal is the custom-experience toolset built into Battlefield. It lets creators define their own modes using the game’s maps, weapons, vehicles and rules, and publish them to be played inside Battlefield.

Who plays Battlefield Portal experiences?

People who already own and play Battlefield. The audience skews older and more core than Roblox or Fortnite, so Portal reaches a narrower but considerably more specific group.

How is Portal different from building on Roblox or in Fortnite?

Portal configures an existing AAA game rather than building a world from scratch. That constrains what can be made, but the experience inherits Battlefield’s production values and its existing player base instead of having to earn an audience from zero.

Is Battlefield Portal right for every project?

No. It suits projects aimed at engaged adult gamers. For family or youth-facing campaigns, Roblox or Fortnite will almost always reach the intended audience more efficiently, and we will say so.
